Have you heard me talk about ROMWOD?!?!  I bet you haven’t.  So here it goes.  I heard all the hype about romwod and was very reluctant to give it a try.  Yoga in disguise? Yuck!  But I decided to give it a try for a week.  Well a week has turned into just over two months.  And I could not be more pleased with the product and the results it produces.  My flexibility has improved and many nagging issues have gone away.  I have also been setting some new PRs because I am able to get into better positions.  So why does it work?  ROMWOD is tailored to CrossFitters focusing on issues we commonly have (i.e. tight hips, backs, ankles and shoulders).  Most of the ROMWODs are less then 20 minutes and don’t require that much attention.  “See pose do pose” kind of stuff, where you can chill out or even watch tv.   It’s good stuff, they say you get sexy and swole or something like that – come give it a whirl tomorrow:)

Attention:  The Helo Christmas Party starts at 6 p.m.!! (You may want to arrive by 6:45 p.m. at the latest heeheehee 🙂 White Elephant Bingo starts at 7 p.m. and it’s always a blast – if you want  to play Bingo, you must bring a White Elephant prize ($10 – $15).  Also, there will be some Corn Hole played for a prize too this year – you don’t want to miss the shenanigans! Also, Preston is doing the bench press tomorrow at 8 a.m. for the Powerlifting Class!
